Picturing some of his favourite cities, Sammoun likes to paint cityscapes in all four seasons. Places such as Montreal, La Prairie, New York, and Boston are all cities that Sammoun painted a lot during winter. He loves to play with the light reflecting on the snow, using only a brush to add texture and depth to his canvas. He always mixes the colours on his palette, therefore once he applies the paint on the canvas, the colour is clean and bright, leaving all different tonality of white. He also likes to paint cityscapes during fall, bringing a touch of colour with the leaves turning and the light changing. In most of his city scenes, Sammoun brings a touch of life and nature by painting trees and suggesting people walking the scene.
