The Mediterranean Sea shores display nature in complementary fashion. The blue of the sea in all its hues contrast with the yellow, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, burnt umber and green of the grass, unique to this paysage.

Été au bord de la Mediterannée series of works concentrate on presenting the grass burned by the sun that sparkle in all directions as fireworks displaying on their tips, wild flowers in blue and white all against the blue colour of the sea and the sky deep or soft, depending on the temperature and time of the day.
